i've finally gotten the time to start on a new doll!! it's a small, child mermaid from angela jarecki's enkai nou class...i'm probably going to make her older looking...but not too sure yet. i got to go out to our big joann's last week with my friend renee' and got the sweet "body" batik fabric...i've been looking for these types of batik for skin for my dolls for awhile, i love using them rather than a solid color. hopefully i can find some time to dye up some cheesecloth for her clothes and get to do all the fun embellishments i've got in my head. i've really missed sewing!!
